Hey there! I’m Shannon—travel junkie, sunshine chaser, and founder of Lone Palm Travel. I spent over 30 years in the hospitality and tourism industry before realizing my favorite part of the job was helping people find their happy place. I founded Lone Palm in 2018 because I kept hearing the same thing from friends and family: "Planning a vacation is so stressful." Between the endless tabs, the confusing spreadsheets, and the 3 AM worries about whether you booked the right thing, the fun was getting lost in the logistics.
That’s where I come in. I’m here to take those spreadsheets and 3 AM worries off your plate so you can actually enjoy the countdown to your trip. Unlike a faceless booking site, I’m a real person who’s got your back before, during, and after you travel. Whether we’re planning a milestone family cruise or a "just because" beach getaway, my goal is to make sure your only job is to show up and start packing.

I’m the deep-diver of the team. As Chief Researcher, my job is to explore and learn every detail of a destination long before you ever arrive. Whether I’m vetting a new ship or digging into the specifics of a resort, I’m looking for the inside track to make sure your itinerary is flawless. I’m a man of few words but plenty of opinions—if a location doesn’t meet my standards, it doesn’t make it onto your list. I only recommend places I’d send my own family to.

I’m Shannon’s sister and your dedicated "detail detective." As the Travel Coordinator here, I’m usually behind the scenes, making sure the magic happens—whether that’s tracking down the perfect room upgrade, sorting out dining times, or finding the answers to your excursion questions. While I’m busy building my own client base and learning every corner of this industry, I treat every itinerary with the same obsession I’d give my own family’s vacation. As a mom, I love "traveling" through your adventures while I raise my own crew at home, and I won't rest until every piece of your trip fits perfectly.
